6. Business from the Floor:

Members of the public are entitled to address the City Council concerning any item within the Folsom City Council's subject matter jurisdiction. Public comments are limited to no more than three minutes. Except for certain specific exceptions, the City Council is prohibited from discussing or taking action on any item not appearing on the posted agenda.

Resolution No. 8263 - A Resolution Calling and Giving Notice of the Holding of a General Municipal Election to be Held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, Requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sacramento to Consolidate the General Municipal Election with the Statewide General Election, and Establishing Policies for Candidates' Statements

c. Resolution No. 8264 - A Resolution Authorizing the Acceptance of a Traffic Grant in the Amount of $8,000 from the State of California Office of Traffic Safety for the Seat Belt and Child Safety Seat Enforcement Program and the Appropriation of Funds

d. Resolution No. 8265 - A Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute the Revised Administering Agency-State Agreement No. 03-5288R and all Program Supplements for State Funded Transportation Projects and any Amendments Thereto with Caltrans

e. Resolution No. 8267 - A Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Contract Change Order with Fehr & Peers Associates for the Folsom/Blue Ravine Intersection Improvement Project, Project No. 2410

f. Resolution No. 8268 - A Resolution Requesting from the California State Parks Department a Six-Month Extension to the Public Comment Period of the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area and Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park Preliminary General Plan/Resource Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement

The meeting of the Folsom City Council is being telecast on Metro Cable TV, Channel 14, the Government Affairs Channel, and will be shown in its entirety on the Friday and Saturday following the meeting, both at 9 a.m. The City does not control scheduling of this telecast and persons interested in watching the televised meeting should confirm this schedule with Metro Cable TV, Channel 14. The City of Folsom provides live and archived webcasts of regular City Council meetings.  The webcasts can be found on the online services page of the City's website  www.folsom.ca.us
