Members of the public are entitled to address the City Council concerning any item within the Folsom City Council's subject matter jurisdiction. Public comments are limited to no more than three minutes. Except for certain specific exceptions, the City Council is prohibited from discussing or taking action on any item not appearing on the posted agenda.

Resolution No. 8606 - A Resolution Authorizing the Fire Department to Accept Grant Funds from the State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP) for the Purpose of Funding the Following Projects as well as Authorization to Allocate Grant Revenues and Expenditures within the FY 2009/10 Budget to include: Development of Confined Space Training Props and Training of City Personnel in Confined Space Operations; Evacuation Shelter Medical Planning and Exercises; and Community Emergency Response Team Program and Appropriation of Funds

c. Resolution No. 8607- A Resolution Authorizing the Finance Director to Appropriate Additional Funds for Light Rail Operation and Recognize Additional Revenue to Offset the Expenditure Appropriation

f. Resolution No. 8610 - A Resolution Authorizing the Utilities Director to Approve Revisions to the Water Conservation Element of the Water Forum Agreement (Contract No. 201-21 00-001) to Provide for Consistency with the California Urban Water Conservation Council Memorandum of Understanding

g. Resolution No. 8612 - A Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Regional Water Authority to Participate in a Federal Grant Program

The meeting of the Folsom City Council is being telecast on Metro Cable TV, Channel 14, the Government Affairs Channel, and will be shown in its entirety on the Friday and Saturday following the meeting, both at 9 a.m. The City does not control scheduling of this telecast and persons interested in watching the televised meeting should confirm this schedule with Metro Cable TV, Channel 14. The City of Folsom provides live and archived webcasts of regular City Council meetings.  The webcasts can be found on the online services page of the City's website www.folsom.ca.us.
