RESOLUTION NO. 7650 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE SACRAMENTO TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SACRAMENTO TRANSPORTATION AND AIR QUALITY COLLABORATIVE WHEREAS, on July 11, 2000, the City of Folsom endorsed the concept and authorized contribution to the Sacramento Transportation and Air Quality Collaborative STAQC); and, WHEREAS, the City of Folsom renewed its participation in the STAQC in July 2002, December 2003 and September 2004; and, WHEREAS, the City of Folsom, along with seven other public entities and the Sacramento Transportation Authority STA), has endorsed the concept of a countywide transportation and air quality collaborative of public agencies and stakeholder organizations to coordinate a comprehensive, long range transportation and air quality improvement strategy for Sacramento County; and, WHEREAS, the City of Folsom can continue to act as a liaison between the collaborative members within Sacramento County and the jurisdictions outside Sacramento County, including El Dorado and Placer Counties; and, WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding will carry the STAQC to completion; and, WHEREAS, funds for this endeavor are available in the Transportation Fund 446); and, WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding will be in a form acceptable to the City Attorney: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Folsom authorizes the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sacramento Transportation Authority that includes the following provisions: 1. The STA shall continue to provide administrative services in support of STAQC during FY 2005/2006. 2. The City shall reimburse the STA for the STA's payments in support of STAQC for FY 2005/2006 at the rate of 2.6 percent of the total annual expenditures, not to exceed $13,750. 3. The STA shall invoice the City for its pro rata share of actual expenditures hereunder, not more often than monthly, and the City shall reimburse the STA within 30 days after receipt of invoice.
