Come visit us!
See our beautiful library and learn about our programs and services. The staff at the Folsom Public Library is happy to schedule a special tour for your organization, school or club.

Preschools & Elementary Grades K-5 (25-30 minutes)

We welcome school visits! We can accomodate tours on Thursday and Friday mornings from 9:30-10:15 or 11:45-12:30. Visits include a tour of the children’s wing, reading of a story, and a talk regarding use of the library and its resources. In order for children to receive library cards on a tour, a parent or guardian must be present. Parents may visit the library prior to a tour to get a card for their child. Browsing time is allowed after the tour. Due to room occupancy limitations, school visits cannot be accomodated during regularly scheduled library programs, i.e. Storytimes. School visits can be scheduled by calling the Youth Services Department at 355-7372.

Grades 6-High School (30-35 minutes)
Come see our Teen space, check out the rest of the building--and learn about all our library has to offer you, from electronic resources to volunteer opportunities. Tours can be arranged by calling the Youth Services Department at 355-7372.

Tours for clubs and Scout troops (25-30 minutes)
We are happy to share the resources of our library with your club, scouting or other group. Contact 355-7372.

Adult Group Tours (30 Minutes)
Tour the library and get an overview of library services. Learn about the library’s book, magazine, and audio-visual collections. Find out about our electronic resources, book clubs and special programs. This informative, guided tour can be arranged on request through the Adult Services Department at 355-7357.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
