The Folsom Public Library partners with SCORE: Counselors to America’s Small Business to offer free workshops that support our community. Register to attend the workshop by calling SCORE (916) 635-9085 or through their website www.sacscore.org. Workshops are held at the Folsom Public Library, 411 Stafford St., Folsom.

In this workshop you will learn how to use the Internet as a component of your marketing efforts. Whether you are starting a business or want to enhance sales for your existing business, an Internet marketing strategy is necessary to compete in today's business environment. Topics to be covered include:

-How to get your business online
-Use of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Advertising to increase sales
-How to communicate with potential customers - both on-line and off-line

201: Launching Your Well Run Business
Once you have completed classes 101 & 102 and have finished our short test, you’ll be ready for your next exciting step -- launching your business. Investing your hard earned money and committing a large portion of your life to your dream is a very critical choice. In this step, you will be introduced to an overview of how to organize your business in a way that will maximize the results. Plus, at the end of this session, you will be assigned a SCORE counselor as your guide through the next phase. Your counselor will help you layout a specific plan for your business advancement.
