Take the Paws to Read pledge and earn one raffle ticket for each book you read or listen to this summer, and for participating in many fun events and activities!  All tickets will be entered in our prize drawing in early August.

Learn How to Download Free e-Books
Saturday, July 26, 10:00am - noon

The library is offering assistance for users who need basic e-reader help, such as creating a Library To Go account, browsing the downloadable collection and downloading library e-books. Bring your Folsom Public Library card and PIN (password); your device charged; and Kindle users know your Amazon account information. The program is free and no registration required. Held in Library Meeting Room.

Interactive, age-specific presentation that emphasize online safety, ethics, and responsibility. Award-winning curriculum developed in partnership with the National Cyber Security Alliance. Presented by Intel.
History of a Place Called Rescue
Friday, August 1, 10:00-11:00am

Join retired Fire Chief and author William C. Teie for a fascinating presentation and photo journey through the History of a Place Called Rescue.  Chief Teie’s book of the same title will be available for sale and signing after the program.
Held in Library Meeting Room; doors open at 9:45 for early seating and refreshments.
ESL Conversation Club

English Language Conversation Club
Tuesdays, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

The ESL Conversation Club offers a comfortable environment for adults with limited English language skills to practice speaking and listening in English. No registration is required and everyone is welcome!  Meets in Children's wing or Library Meeting Room; location varies.

Join our Book Club

Join other readers at the Folsom Public Library for lively,monthly book discussions. Meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. or join the afternoon discussion on the third Thursday of the month at 1
- 2 p.m.
