Kid's Summer Reading Program


Sat. May 28th 10am - 12pm     Kick Off Party!
Enjoy a bounce house, live music, storytime, face painting and more! Kids of all ages can pick up a reading activity card to complete during the summer. Completed entries earn prizes and a chance to win a Nook Color e-reader!

Sat. June 4th 1pm     Free Kid's Movie Matinee
We'll be showing Gulliver's Travels, rated PG. Kids ages 6 and up, parents welcome, too.

Thu. June 9 1pm    The World of Magic with Trevor Wyatt
Come see magic tricks from around the world! Program held adjacent to the library at the Community Center. Activity interest: ages 5 and up.

Sat. June 18th 1pm     
Free Kid's Movie Matinee
We'll be showing Gnomeo and Juliet, rated G. Kids ages 6 and up, parents welcome, too.

Wed. June 22nd 1-3:30pm    One World, Many Crafts
Drop in activity, kids can complete paper crafts representing 3 different countries. Library Meeting Room. Activity interest: ages 5 and up.

Thu. July 7th 1pm   One World, Many Songs!
Bay Area musician Bonnie Lockhart joins us for a musical journey around the world. Program held adjacent to the library at the Community Center. All ages.

Wed. July 20th 1-3:30pm Games Around the World
Drop in and play an assortment of games with members of our Teen Summer Reading Team. Activity interest: ages 5 and up.
