Folsom: Images of Modern America

Writer, editor, and photographer Roberta Kludt Long presents her new book Folsom: Images of Modern America, and discusses the growth and flowering of Folsom from the 1960s to the present.  Books available for sale and signing.  Doors open at 9:45 am for early seating; light refreshments served.

Volunteers offer individual assistance in use of the free e-books and e-audiobooks available to Folsom Library cardholders.  Bring your fully charged e-reader or other device, library card and PIN/password.  Kindle users please know your Amazon account information.  By appointment only - call Adult Services at (916) 355-7357 to make your reservation.

English Language Conversation Club

The Library's Conversation Club is a fun, relaxed place for adults learning English to practice talking with native speakers. Join us to improve your English, learn about American culture, and meet new friends. Drop in for a chat; no registration is required and all levels are welcome. Evening and morning sessions are available - come to one or both in the Library Meeting Room!

Join other readers at the Folsom Public Library for lively, monthly book discussions. Meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. or join the afternoon discussion on the third Thursday of the month at 1 - 2 p.m.
