Topics covered in this free session include the naturalization process, the new naturalization test, and the rights and responsibilities of U.S. citizenship.  Taught by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.  For legal permanent residents and interested naturalization applicants.  No registration required.

Wicked Women of the Old West
Saturday, July 11, 2015, 1:00 p.m.

New York Times Best-Selling author, scriptwriter, and comedienne Chris Enss will celebrate the release of her latest book and share stories of the Old West's most egregiously behaved female outlaws, gamblers, soiled doves, and other wicked women.  Books will be available for sale and signing by author.  Library Meeting Room

Join us for a special screening of this classic musical that retells Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet story set in 1950s blue-collar New York City.  Winner of 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture in 1961.  Presented by the Folsom Film Society.

The Library's Conversation Club is a fun, relaxed place for adults learning English to practice talking with native speakers. Join us to improve your English, learn about American culture, and meet new friends. Drop in for a chat; no registration is required and all levels are welcome. Join other readers at the Folsom Public Library for lively, monthly book discussions. Meetings held on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. or join the afternoon discussion on the third Thursday of the month at 1 - 2 p.m.
