Great Scott! (Road) Bike & Walk Event
Sunday, May 3 - 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

In support of regional "May is Bike Month," the cities of Folsom and Rancho Cordova and the counties of Sacramento and El Dorado are closing a section of Scott Road and segments of White Rock and Old Placerville roads. These road closures will provide bicyclists and pedestrians with an opportunity to ride and walk on roadways with no vehicle traffic.  This is a free event!

Parking is available at the Palladio in Folsom (E. Bidwell between Iron Point Road and Broadstone Parkway), at the Latrobe Road (south) end of Scott Road, and on White Rock Road from Luyung Drive (near Sunrise Blvd.).  Bicyclists and pedestrians may enter the ride route at either end of Scott Road.

Note: Very limited water is available on the route; please bring your own.  Portable restroom facilities will be available at three locations along Scott Road.

New this year:  bike fests, food trucks, and live music at two locations along the event course!
