Great Scott! (Road) Bike & Walk Event
Sunday, May 5, 2013 - 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
In support of regional "May is Bike Month," the City of Folsom and Sacramento County Dept. of Transportation are closing a section of Scott Road and segments of White Rock and Old Placerville roads.
These road closures will provide bicyclists and pedestrians with an opportunity to ride and walk on roadways with no vehicle traffic.
Parking is available at the Palladio in Folsom (E. Bidwell between Iron Point Road and Broadstone Parkway) and at the Latrobe Road (south) end of Scott Road (see map below). Bicyclists and pedestrians may enter the ride route at either end of Scott Road.
Note: no water is available on the route; please bring your own. Portable restroom facilities will be available at three locations along Scott Road
(see map below).
