The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary has been providing sanctuary to some very special animals. The name Sanctuary was added in 2002 to better describe our facility. All the animals are featured as individuals, with names and personal stories posted along with "generic" information about their species. Please use the link tabs on the left to visit each species.

The City of Folsom has a Zoo Sanctuary Master Plan which shows the City's commitment to improving conditions for the animals, and zoo visitors. Peacocks, roosters and hens roam freely throughout the zoo.
