Residents in most of the City's multi-family communities can recycle their junk mail, newspapers, beverage containers and other materials in one dumpster. Recyclables can be commingled into designated white dumpsters. Residents can also get a free tote carrier (while supplies last) to conveniently store and carry their recyclables to the recycling dumpster. For additional information, please call 355-8367 option #4.
California's Multi-family & Business Recycling Law (AB341)
California Assembly Bill 341 requires that multi-family dwellings of five or more units, regardless of the amount of waste generated must have established a recycling program by July 1, 2012. If your apartment complex does not have a recycling program, please contact the City's Solid Waste Division at 355-8367 option # 4 and we will work with the property management to start a program.
