Welcome to the Solid Waste Collections web page. Our Division collects and disposes of refuse, recycling and green waste within the city limits. In addition to providing quality customer service, the collections division works hard to meet the guidelines set up by the AB 939 to recycle 50% of our City's waste stream.

Residential Garbage, Recycling and Green Waste Collection Schedule

Residential Rates

The rates are dependent on the size of your garbage cart. The following rates include the garbage cart, the recycling cart, the green waste cart, Household Hazardous Waste pickup and Neighborhood Cleanup service.

The first and second green waste and recycling carts are included in your solid waste rates.  Additional green waste and recycling carts are available for $1.50 per month per cart.

Standard Rates:

65-gallon garbage cart	$22.50 per month
95-gallon garbage cart	$25.50 per month
Extra garbage carts	$19.05 per month

With Green Waste Exemption ($1.00 discount):

65-gallon garbage cart	$21.50 per month
95-gallon garbage cart	$24.50 per month

Extra Pickups

Residents who occasionally need extra service can order additional pickups.  Residents may receive an additional pickup for any type of cart at a $15 charge per cart, Monday through Friday.  To request this service, call the Solid Waste Division at 355-8367.

Holiday Collection

There is no change in service on holidays.  Your containers will be emptied as usual.
