Recyclable Weekly HHW Pickup Brake Fluid Paint: Oil-Based & Water Based Latex Flammable Paint thinner, Deck Stains, Varnish, Lacquer, Shellac and Water Repellants Motor Oil, Transmission Fluid or Oil filter Antifreeze Propane Tanks (Compressed Gas Cylinders LESS than 5 gallons or 20 lbs. i.e. BBQ or camping-sized) Batteries (All types. 5 pound minimum. Please save up household batteries ) TV or Computer Monitors Gasoline/Kerosene Household Aerosols Fluorescent or HID Lamps Fats, Oils, Grease, Fryer Oil (While these are not hazardous, the City prefers to pick these items up and recycle them to prevent future problems with the City's sewer system) Consumer Electronics (Including but not limited to: Electronics with Circuit Boards, VCRs, DVDs, Printers, Stereo Amplifiers, Microwaves, Computer CPUs [cables ok], etc. Please save up at least 10 lbs. of electronics total before scheduling an appointment) Hazmat does not take large appliances. They are collected through the Solid Waste Division's Neighborhood Cleanup Program. See Solid Waste Collections If you select items from both the weekly program and monthly program, you will be scheduled for a monthly pickup.
