City Hall Upgrades Customer Service 

Conducting business at City Hall will soon be easier than ever with the addition of a new central reception counter on the first floor.  Visitors may pay water bills, obtain business or animal licenses, or seek directions and ask questions of staff. 

The new counter will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays and monthly employee furlough days.   

“The expanded reception space will allow us to have at least two staff members working at the counter, ensuring timely and responsive service for those needing assistance,” says City Manager Kerry Miller.   

The new customer service counter will be located at the rear of City Hall and is visible and easily accessible from the building’s two main entrances.   The City also maintains second floor counters for City Administration, City Clerk, Human Resources, and Planning & Building Services. 

Parks & Recreation staff continues to assist residents at the Senior & Arts Center public counter next door to City Hall at 48 Natoma St.  Residents needing public safety assistance may visit the Police Department at 46 Natoma St. and the main Fire Station at 535 Glenn Dr.
