The City of Folsom’s Animal Services team is committed to exceptional service to Folsom’s four-legged community members and their owners and to reuniting lost or misplaced pets with their families through adoptions, rescue or foster programs.
The City of Folsom Animal Services Department offers a low-cost monthly rabies clinic for residents, providing an easy and affordable way for pet owners to rabies vaccinate, microchip and license Folsom’s four-legged residents.
The clinic offers low-cost rabies vaccinations and pet licensing services and is held the fourth Wednesday of every month, excluding November and December, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Folsom City Lions Park, 403 Stafford Street.
Rabies vaccinations are offered to pets for $5, and for a limited time, a microchip with lifetime registration is free with the purchase or renewal of a City of Folsom pet license at the clinic.
The City requires that all dogs and cats over four months of age be vaccinated against rabies and licensed. The City requests dogs are on leashes and cats are in carriers at the clinic. Cash and checks accepted.
