Econome Family Park Grand Opening Celebration

July 2, 2018 

The public is invited to the grand opening celebration for the City of Folsom's new neighborhood park Thursday, July 12 at 1900 Parkway Drive North. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. with a free hot dog dinner followed by the dedication and ribbon-cutting at 7:30 p.m. After the ceremony, enjoy refreshments, sports demonstrations, a history walk, and learn about activities and volunteer opportunities from a variety of community groups.

New Fiscal Year Budget Takes Effect

July 2, 2018 

The Folsom City Council approved a $206 million balanced budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year starting July 1, marking the end of an annual process of evaluating the city’s fiscal health, community priorities, infrastructure needs and daily operations. The budget represents a $4.2 million increase over last year’s adopted budget.
