The Folsom Public Library will host a community blood drive in partnership with Vitalant on Tuesday, August 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Blood donations are urgently needed and can save lives! The blood drive will be held at the Folsom Public Library, 411 Stafford Street. All donors will receive a special Vitalant donor T-shirt. Register online or call 877-258-4825, and reference blood drive code SMFD327. Walk-ins are welcome and will be accommodated if space allows.
To prepare for your donation:

- Donors must be at least 16 years old and there is no upper age limit.
- The entire donation process takes about one hour, and the actual blood donation takes about 5-7 minutes.
- Please bring a photo I.D.
- Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating.
- 16-year-olds must have a signed Vitalant parent consent form which can be found at the blood drive or vitalant.org/resources/donor-forms
