Help prevent prescription medications from falling into the wrong hands. Bring your unused, unwanted, or expired medications to the Folsom Police Department at 46 Natoma Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26 for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

To participate:

• Put all pills into a clear zipper sealed bag. Liquids, gels, and creams should be tightly sealed in their original containers.
• Remove labels with identifying information from any container.

Items accepted include:

• Old prescription medications.
• Vape pens and e-cigarettes with battery cartridges removed.

Items not accepted:

• Intra-venous solutions.
• Injectables.
• Syringes.
• Illicit substances, such as marijuana or methamphetamine.
• Vape pens or e-cigarettes with non-removeable batteries.
• Inhalers.
