Expect traffic delays and road closures on Tuesday, April 15 due to a large-scale event at Folsom Lake College.
Heavy traffic is anticipated on East Bidwell Street, Scholar Way, and surrounding streets from the afternoon through at least 9 p.m. Drivers should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes.
Road closures, including the following streets, will be in effect until approximately 9 p.m.:
- Scholar Way between East Bidwell Street and Silberhorn Drive.
- Cavitt Drive between Scholar Way and Lothian Way.
Parking in nearby residential neighborhoods is for residents only. Please respect posted signage and do not block driveways or access points.
The Los Rios Community College District Police Department, in coordination with the Folsom Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, will be onsite to help ensure the safety of event attendees and the surrounding community.
