On August 23, 2025, at 10:08 a.m., firefighters from the Folsom Fire Department and El Dorado Hills Fire Department responded for a residential structure fire involving a garage. Fire crews ensured the home was evacuated and quickly initiated fire attack.  Two pets were located in the home and safely removed from the structure.  Significant damage occurred to the garage and two vehicles, but an aggressive fire attack prevented the fire from extending to the rest of the structure.
