The City of Folsom is replacing nine aging rooftop heating and air conditioning units at the Folsom Public Library on Stafford Street. The $300,000 project was approved by the Folsom City Council on October 28.

The original units, installed when the library was built 18 years ago, have reached the end of their service life and become costly to maintain. The new system will improve energy efficiency, reliability, and comfort for library visitors and staff.

The Folsom Parks & Recreation Department is managing the project through a cooperative purchasing program to achieve cost savings and streamline the process.
