The City of Folsom is moving forward with upgrades at the Glenn Drive and School Street intersection to improve accessibility, pedestrian safety, and drainage.

The upgrades are part of a broader effort to modernize infrastructure and enhance walkability between the Central Business District and the Historic District.

The project includes new Americans with Disabilities Act–compliant ramps, updated storm drain inlets, regraded sidewalks and curbs, and new pavement. Fresh striping will also be added to crosswalks and stop bars on all approaches.

Construction is managed by B&M Civil LLC and funded through the state’s Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Fund (SB 1) and the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
