Purpose

Per Section 10.02.010 of the City of Folsom Municipal Code, the purpose of the city of Folsom Traffic Safety Committee is to provide the city council with recommendations on policy related, traffic safety issues based on sound technical and practical criteria and to act as a sounding board for citizens’ concerns.

Traffic Safety Discussion Regarding Proposed All-Way Stop on Alder Creek Parkway at Blacktail Way/Quail Meadow Way

The Traffic Safety Committee will consider the installation of an all-way stop at the intersection of Alder Creek Parkway at Blacktail Way/Quail Meadow Way. The committee will review supporting documentation, traffic volume data, and safety observations to determine whether all-way stop control is warranted at this location. A recommendation may be made during the meeting.
