Step back into the early days of the California Gold Rush at the Folsom Public Library on Saturday, May 2 at 11 a.m.
Local history author Eric Webb will explore the forgotten but significant upland communities of Mormon Island, Negro Hill, and Prairie City, and their role in shaping the region’s history. The program is presented in partnership with the Friends of Lakes Folsom and Natoma.
The event will be held in the Library Meeting Room. Copies of “Lost Gold Rush Towns of Sacramento” will be available for purchase and signing.
