May is Affordable Housing Month, a time to recognize the importance of safe, stable, and affordable homes in the Folsom community.

Affordable housing supports stronger families, better health, educational success, and more connected neighborhoods.

The City of Folsom’s Affordable Housing Resale Program helps low-income residents achieve homeownership. More than 75 deed-restricted homes, primarily condominiums, are available throughout the city. When owners choose to sell, these homes are resold to qualified buyers at affordable prices, typically ranging from $200,000 to the low $300,000s. This approach preserves long-term affordability and expands access to homeownership.
