City Works Day gave community members a hands-on look at the people, equipment, and services that keep Folsom running. Visitors explored city vehicles, met staff from several City of Folsom departments, and enjoyed interactive activities highlighting public works, public safety, utilities, and other essential services.

The free annual event was held on May 20 in recognition of National Public Works Week, which celebrates the important role public works professionals play in communities across the country.
