Looking for a fun, educational, and budget-friendly activity this summer? Storytime with the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary is the perfect way for families to enjoy stories, animals, and hands-on learning.
Led by the Zoo Sanctuary’s volunteer docents, each storytime features engaging, animal-themed books, interactive animal puppets, and plenty of opportunities to spark curiosity about the natural world. While stories are best suited for children ages 4 and up, animal lovers of all ages are welcome.

Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary Closed JULY 2–4
The Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary will be closed Thursday, July 2 through Saturday, July 4, due to the Folsom Pro Rodeo. The zoo will reopen with normal summer operating hours on Sunday, July 5.
