With Folsom’s wide variety of parks, facilities, and recreation spaces, the community has countless opportunities to make the most of summer. Whether staying active, cooling off, or spending quality time with family and friends, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
- The Power of Connection: Rally on the pickleball courts or share a walk along Folsom’s 60+ miles of scenic trails.
- The Power of Play: Cool off at the Steve Miklos Aquatic Center or one of Folsom’s three splash pads. Explore 38 playgrounds, the newly redesigned Folsom Bike Park, and the newly reopened Castle Park.
- The Power of Community: Spend time together at one of Folsom’s 49 parks, visit the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary, or join neighbors for a Summer Concert or Movie Night under the stars.
- The Power of Nature: Explore Folsom’s trails and parks, perfect for walking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors.
- The Power of Belonging: Join a class, visit a park, or attend a community event.
- The Power of Well-Being: Stay active and inspired with fitness classes, tennis, aquacise, painting, photography, cookie decorating, bocce ball, and more.
This month, residents are encouraged to try something new or visit a favorite spot. However summer is spent, one thing is certain, parks make life better in Folsom!
