The Folsom Public Library will host a community blood drive in partnership with Vitalant on Tuesday, August 18 from 10 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. 

Summer is a time of increased need for lifesaving blood transfusions, and healthy donors are needed to help maintain the local blood supply. Each participant will receive a voucher for two tickets to a Sacramento River Cats baseball game and can choose which game to attend.

Appointments are encouraged, and walk-ins will be accepted as space allows. Register at donors.vitalant.org using blood drive code SMFD327 or call Vitalant at 877-258-4825 and mention the blood drive code.
