Roof replacement work is underway at the Folsom Public Library, and the library will remain open throughout construction.

The City of Folsom is replacing the library’s original, low-slope roof with a new weatherproof roofing system to help protect the building for years to come. The project is expected to take up to 10 weeks, with completion anticipated in October. Funding is provided through the City’s Facility Rehab Fund.

Visitors may hear construction noise during work hours. Crews will complete the project in sections, with construction activity shifting to different areas of the library as work progresses.
