Initial weed abatement has been completed at sites throughout Folsom. Late-season rains contributed to additional vegetation growth in some locations, and crews are continuing to address regrowth in priority areas, including the Hinkle Creek Nature Area. The city is also using goat grazing crews to reduce dry vegetation and wildfire risk in open spaces. Residents are encouraged to
report areas of concern – and to keep an eye out for Folsom’s hardest-working four-legged vegetation management crew!
