Hundreds of volunteers are assembling more than 36,000 donation bags for the Community Service Day Food Drive benefiting Twin Lakes Food Bank. The City of Folsom thanks The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Muslim Community of Folsom, Trinity Episcopal Church, and Oak Hills Church for supporting this communitywide effort.

The bags will be delivered to Folsom households in early September. Residents are encouraged to fill the bag with nonperishable food and place it at the curb by 8 a.m. Saturday, September 19, for volunteer pickup.

If every Folsom household donates just one bag of groceries, the community can help provide food for local families for an entire year.
