Folsom Wants to Do Business with Local Companies and Vendors

The success of local businesses and vendors positively impacts Folsom’s economy as a whole, as well as the City’s ability to provide quality services and programs. The City strives to use Folsom vendors in purchasing services, and products when quality, service, and other factors are equal. The Folsom Municipal Code provides for a five percent price differential to local bidders in contracting.

The City of Folsom, Utilities Department is requesting proposals for the Condition Assessment of the Water Treatment Plant and Water Booster Pump Station Facilities.

The scope of work of this request for proposals is generally described as providing condition assessment and improvement recommendations for the Folsom Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and all water Booster Pump Station (BPS) Facilities. The goal of the condition assessment is to identify and prioritize the condition of each asset, evaluate its remaining serviceable life, recommend various alternatives that consider; repairing, replacing in kind, and incorporating into the City’s Capital Improvement Program as well as identifying all costs (design, construction, etc.) associated with each alternative to correct the deficiency.
