Folsom Wants to Do Business with Local Companies and Vendors

The success of local businesses and vendors positively impacts Folsom’s economy as a whole, as well as the City’s ability to provide quality services and programs. The City strives to use Folsom vendors in purchasing services, and products when quality, service, and other factors are equal. The Folsom Municipal Code provides for a five percent price differential to local bidders in contracting.

On-Call Environmental Review Services

The City of Folsom (City) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide on-call environmental review services on an as-needed basis. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a pool of pre-qualified consultants with the capacity and expertise to perform a variety of environmental review services including CEQA and/or NEPA documentation. Consultants may team with qualified subconsultants to ensure the capability to perform all services identified within the scope of services as part of their submitted proposal. 

Proposals can be submitted electronically to Jessica Brandt, Principal Planner at jbrandt@folsom.ca.us or can be physically submitted to Folsom City Hall – Community Development Department, located at the Building & Planning Counter on the 2nd floor of 50 Natoma St., Folsom, CA 95630 by no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 20, 2026. If mail delivery is used, the Consultant should mail the proposal early enough to provide for arrival by this deadline. Consultants that choose to use mail or a courier service do so at their own risk. The City will not accept proposals received after the deadline date and time, regardless of the circumstances.
