“This gallery is featuring artists of great caliber, and is building a reputation for itself in Northern California."
- Susan Laird, Village Life Newspaper
"This show rivals recent showings of California art at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, and future exhibits promise to be of additional cultural significance. Folsom’s little free, community art gallery is absolutely worth taking the time to visit."
- Village Life Newspaper

"Kid in the Candy Store"
September 8 to November 2, 2017
Ceramic sculpture by acclaimed artist Camille VandenBerge
Starting in the 1960's a small gallery on Sutter Street in Folsom showcased artists that later became forerunners of the Funk Art ceramics movement. Called "The Candy Store," this little gallery exhibited titans of art including Peter VandenBerge, Robert Arneson, Clayton Bailey and others. As a little girl, Camille VandenBerge often accompanied her famous father to the gallery and later became an acclaimed artist on her own. This spectacular exhibit will highlight Camille's new sculptures and also will include selected pieces from famed artists of the Funk Art Movement.
A once-in-a-lifetime special exhibit of student art taught by premier artist Peter VandenBerge to the advanced ceramic students at Vista Del Lago High School in Folsom.
The display continues through November 2, 2017.
"Teaching Art Inside"

With the 50th Anniversary of Cash’s concert this January, the Gallery at 48 Natoma (which is located in the Folsom Civic Center, just neighboring the prison) is featuring a very special exhibit beginning November 17, 2017. “Teaching Art Inside” will feature paintings and prints by former correctional art instructor James Carlson and artwork by incarcerated artists from the Arts-In-Corrections Program at the California State Prison, Sacramento (New Folsom Prison).
