Bring your canine companions for a day of fun at the 14th annual
Bark 'n' Splash Bash
at the Folsom Aquatic Center
Saturday, October 8, 2016, 1-4 p.m.
Admission: $10/dog -- human companions are FREE!
Entry requirements: You must provide WRITTEN proof (not just a collar tag) of a current animal license for your dog(s). All dogs must be on leash for entry (off-leash areas available inside the facility).
Dogs will be allowed to swim and frolic in the Activity Pool, which features a pooch-pleasing play structure and sloped beach-style entry into the water. (As standard post-season procedure, the pool will be drained, sanitized and inspected after the event.)
For the water-shy, there's abundant lawn for romping, lounging and doggie socializing. A variety of dog-related groups and vendors will be on hand to provide information and product samples.
Dog licenses, microchip implants for permanent identification, and rabies vaccinations will be available on-site for a fee.
Are you a Folsom resident who needs to purchase or renew your dog's license prior to the Bark 'n' Splash? Folsom dog licenses are available at the Folsom City Hall customer service desk, 50 Natoma Street, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday; please bring your dog's current rabies vaccination paperwork.
