Historic District Development Projects
The City of Folsom provides information on projects within the Historic District that are currently under review by the Community Development Department and recently approved development projects within the Historic District. Projects range from small private improvements to larger-scale developments. Information will be updated periodically as new details become available.
Historic District Major Projects (Commission-Level)
Below are major development project applications within the Historic District that require discretionary entitlements and are currently under review by the Community Development Department. These projects require a public meeting or hearing before the Historic District Commission and/or the City Council.
Regular Historic District Commission meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 50 Natoma Street. Information on individual projects and Historic District Commission decisions is available in the Staff Reports and Minutes for the Historic District Commission.
Regular City Council meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 50 Natoma Street. Information on individual projects and City Council decisions is available in the Staff Reports and Minutes for the City Council.
A list of pending development projects is provided in the spreadsheet below. The project planners listed for each project maintain copies of the most recent plans, application materials, and hearing schedules, and may be contacted using the information provided. Applications that are withdrawn or lapsed are not listed.
Historic District Minor Projects (Staff-Level)
Below are minor project applications that require staff-level review by the Community Development Department. These projects require a meeting via conference call hosted by planning staff to discuss the submittal and accept comments from the public prior to approval.
This meeting occurs on Thursday at 4 p.m. following the posting of the notice on the project site and delivery of notices to adjacent property owners. Call-in information is available on the public notice for the project.
