The City of Folsom owns and operates hundreds of miles of sewer pipelines. Many dark and damp environments, including landscaping, storm drains, crawl spaces, and sewer systems, can attract cockroaches. During the summer, cockroaches may gravitate towards the sewer system as other habitats dry up. Over the years, the city has used several cockroach control methods to address customer concerns and discourage cockroaches from inhabiting the sewer system.
