The Cash for Grass - Turf Replacement Rebate Program provides incentives to City of Folsom water customers for converting water-thirsty lawns to water-efficient landscapes. 

The City of Folsom will rebate customers $1 per square foot of turf grass removed and replaced with water efficient landscape, up to $2,000 per address.

Funding is limited, and applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. 

Applications must be submitted and approved prior to starting the turf replacement project. The project must then be started within 30 days of approval and completed within 90 days of the approval date. We are unable to make any exceptions.

The Irrigation Efficiency Upgrade Rebate Program provides incentives to City of Folsom Water customers for converting inefficient irrigation systems into water-efficient irrigation systems. 

Upgrading to high-efficiency irrigation equipment conserves our limited water supply and helps landscapes thrive, even when it does not rain.

City of Folsom water customers can receive 50% of the cost of qualifying material, up to $500.

The rebate program covers converting overhead spray systems to drip, replacing misting style spray nozzles with rotary nozzles, and replacing standard sprinkler controllers to smart controllers that use current weather data to schedule watering.

The High Efficiency Toilet (HET) Rebate Program provides incentives to City of Folsom Water customers for installing High Efficiency toilets to reduce water use.

Upgrade your existing toilet to a more efficient model, and receive a rebate of 50% of the material costs, up to $175.

Funding is limited, and applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Receipt must be dated within 90 days of purchase. We are unable to make any exceptions.
