Our city’s 49 beautiful parks and 50+ miles of paved recreational trails provide ample opportunities to enjoy Folsom’s stunning natural setting. Visit your neighborhood park to enjoy a family picnic or relax in the shade at one of our covered picnic areas. If you’re more interested in working up a sweat, opt for a nature hike, bike ride, or a meet-up with friends at our many sports courts.

We invite you to explore our newest park, Prospector Park, an 11.8-acre community space in Folsom Ranch. The park features a children’s play area, multi-use field, dog parks, tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, along with a group picnic area.

Our calendar is packed with recreational activities designed to delight everyone from preschoolers to seniors. You can challenge your body and mind while having fun in Folsom’s natural environment and premier facilities.

Folsom’s sports complex features indoor batting cages, drop-in sports programs, and offers a vast selection of sports and fitness programs and leagues. Plus, our aquatic center is open year-round and provides a variety of swim lessons, specialty camps, and lifeguard courses.
