Rec Swim

The Aquatic Center’s summer rec season run from May 23 through September 7.

Guests can enjoy all the great amenities: the interactive play structure, two-story water slide, diving boards, three pools, and the giant inflatable obstacle courses (requires a $5 wristband). The trained lifeguarding staff are always on duty during recreation swim. 

Lap Swim

We offer our lap swim fitness exercise program year-round. Participants use the full length of the lane to complete down-and-back laps. Our lap swim program is for ages 16+; admission is by drop-in daily rate or with one of our pass options. Lap swim is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We invite young swimmers to join our Sea Squad swim lesson program. Our experienced instructors help children develop water confidence and skills in a fun and supportive environment. The Steve Miklos Aquatic Center is also the practice location for the Sierra Marlins year-round swim team and the Folsom Sea Otters seasonal swim team. Learn more about the swim team programs.

Winter/Spring Lap Swim Hours: January 12–May 28

• Monday–Friday: 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6:15 p.m.–7:45 p.m.
• Saturday: 10:30 a.m.–Noon

*Lap swim will not be available March 6–7 and April 11.

Daily Rates

• Ages under 2 years: FREE
• Ages 2+: $10
• Inflatable wristband: $5

 Admission fees are required for all who enter facility.

Passes

• Family Season Pass: $179

Family passes inlcude up to four family members in the same household. Additional family members can be added for $40. A Family pass does not inlcude daily admission rates for inflatables. Admission fees are required for all who enter facility.

Sea Squad Swim School

The Squad offers a variety of swim lessons in the spring, summer, and fall. Classes are offered in small group, semi-private, and private formats for ages 3 through adults. These lessons fill quickly; early registration is encouraged.

Aquacise provides a low-impact conditioning and cardiovascular workout for ages 16+ and all fitness levels.

Winter/Spring Aquacise Schedule: January 12 through May 28

• Mid-Day Aquacise: Monday through Thursday, 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
• Evening Aquacise: Tuesday and Thursday, 6:15–7:15 p.m.
• Deep-Water Aquacise: Friday, 11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m.

*No class on January 1–11 and March 6. Classes subject to change based on demand.

Birthday Party Packages

Parties are available starting May 29; call 916-461-6640 for information and reservations.

Our Birthday Party Packages allow you and your guests to enjoy all of the aquatic center’s great features (the water slide, high and low diving boards, activity pool, and more!) as you celebrate with your friends and family. 

Lifeguards are on duty to assure party-goers’ safety. Parties are two hours; advance reservations required.

Splash Bash Birthday Party Package  

Includes:

• Admission for birthday child and 20 party guests (youth or adult) 
• Birthday cake
• Two pepperoni or cheese pizzas
• All necessary tableware
• Punch or lemonade
• Shade canopy
• Tables and chairs
• Staff assistance

Times and Fees:

• Monday through Thursday, 2 to 4 p.m.; Fee: $299
• Friday through Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.; Fee: $349
• Additional fees apply to parties with more than 20 guests
• Wristbands to use the giant inflatables are an additional $4/person
• Party host is allowed to enter the aquatic center 15 minutes prior to party start time
• Additional cheese or pepperoni pizzas may be ordered for $20/pizza; arrangements for additional pizzas must be made in advance

Mega Bash Birthday Party Package

Includes:

• Admission for birthday child and 20 party guests (youth or adult)
