The Landscaping & Lighting Districts Advisory Committee helps foster communication between City of Folsom staff and residents living in Landscaping and Lighting Districts. The committee includes community representatives from each district who offer input on maintenance needs, budgets, and service priorities.

L&L Districts provide essential services that are funded independently from the city’s General Fund. These services include maintaining landscaping and irrigation along streets and medians, caring for neighborhood parks and open spaces, operating and maintaining public lighting, and supporting fire risk reduction efforts such as weed abatement.

While the committee does not set policies or approve budgets, it makes recommendations to city staff on the upkeep of streetscapes, lighting, mini parks, trails, and open spaces funded through the L&L Districts.
