Planned improvements include:

• New turn lanes and extended left-turn lanes at key intersections.
• Restriping improvements on Broadstone Parkway.
• Restriping on Broadstone Parkway
• Pavement repairs for a smoother, longer-lasting roadway.
• Improved bicycle and pedestrian connections to the US-50 undercrossing.
• Improved connections to the East Bidwell Rail Trail.
• Safety and access improvements for people traveling through the corridor.

The project is currently in the design and community engagement phase. Feedback gathered through community workshops and direct outreach will help the project team better understand travel patterns, business access needs, and construction considerations. The timeline below is subject to change based on coordination with Caltrans.

• February 2026 — Project Kickoff
• July 2026 — Community Meetings Begin (current phase)
• March 2027 — Design Complete
• July 2027 — Construction Begins

The City of Folsom is committed to keeping businesses, neighbors, and community members informed and involved throughout the East Bidwell Corridor Improvements. As the project moves forward, there will be opportunities to learn about planned improvements, review design information, and share feedback on travel patterns, business access, delivery needs, and corridor priorities.
