Folsom will host the men’s Stage 6, an individual time trial, and the women’s Stage 2, a team time trial. Folsom’s approximately 12-mile course will feature some of the city’s distinctive landmarks and natural amenities as riders start and finish in the Historic District, and travel over the Rainbow Bridge and Folsom Lake Crossing.

In addition to the men's individual time trial, fans are in for a whole day of excitement with a women's team time trial on tap as well, a first for our race," said Kristin Klein, president of the Amgen Tour of California and executive vice president of AEG Sports.

The NBC Sports Network and NBC will air the Amgen Tour of California around the world, showcasing Folsom internationally.
