Folsom Public Library Summer Reading Program

Fasten your seatbelts because the Folsom Public Library is ready to take off for this year’s summer reading program, “Reading Takes You Every­where!” Stories have an extraordinary ability to transport readers to places they could never imagine! Keep busy reading and learning this summer at the Folsom Public Library.

Folsom residents of all ages are encouraged to sign up for this annual event that is sure to deliver action and adventure through reading. Kids and teens who read five books this summer will receive a free book, a reusable book bag and entry into a drawing for a $100 Barnes and Noble gift card! Adults reading five books get a reusable book bag and entry into the drawing, too!

Summer Reading Events for Children

  • Goldilocks and the Three Sharks Puppet Show Thursday, June 7 at 2 p.m.
  • Brian Scott Magic Show Thursday, June 14 at 2 p.m.
  • Fenix Drum and Dance Company Friday, June 22 at 2 p.m.
  • Wild Things Animal Show Thursday, July 26 at 2 p.m.
