Join the 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association for this free class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 13 at the Folsom Community Center, 52 Natoma Street. The course instructors are certified by the League of American Cyclists, with more than 100 hours of training and experience. Class participants will learn how and where cyclists fit into our transportation system, rules of the road, lane positioning, crash avoidance and other helpful riding tips. At the end of the day, you'll put your new knowledge into practice with a short group street ride. Class is for ages 12 and older; families and friends who ride together are encouraged to attend. Class is free, but preregistration is required; snacks, lunch and instructional materials are included.
