Sea Squad Swim School

At this time, we are not offering any swim lessons for summer 2020 in accordance with public health guidelines.

Check out this SHORT VIDEO about first day of Sea Squad Swim School Lessons!

The Steve Miklos Aquatic Center staff is excited to teach your children how to swim here at our beautiful facility. Swim instructors use a combination of Red Cross techniques and years of experience to teach students to swim. Learn more about our wide variety of swim programs and lessons for all ages and abilities; call 916-461-6640 to register.

Swimmers are evaluated on their first day of lessons and placed in an appropriate level by our staff. Ages 6 months to 3 years are placed in Parent/Tot lessons with their parent.

Swim lesson levels progress from beginner (starfish – ages 3 and older) to advanced (shark):

Starfish -- Beginner, ages 3+
Shark -- Advanced

Autism Spectrum Swim Lessons

This special program is a parent-child participation class for children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our swim instructors will introduce your child to the water and help increase the parent’s and child’s water awareness. Lessons are provided at no cost through funding provided by a grant from Autism Speaks. Call 916-461-6640 for details.
