The Gallery at 48 Natoma

About the Gallery

The Gallery at 48 Natoma brings high quality, original art exhibits to our community. The City of Folsom opened the gallery in June 2007. There are two exhibition spaces: the main Gallery at 48 Natoma that features work by professional regional and national artists, and the Community Gallery that showcases the work of local emerging artists, students, and regional arts organizations. Most of the art on display is available for sale; admission to the gallery is free.

“This gallery is featuring artists of great caliber, and is building a reputation for itself in Northern California." Susan Laird, Village Life Newspaper

"This show rivals recent showings of California art at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, and future exhibits promise to be of additional cultural significance. Folsom’s little free, community art gallery is absolutely worth taking the time to visit." Village Life Newspaper

Current Exhibit:

Pastel Paintings & More
July 12 to September 5, 2019

Artist's Reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, featuring great food, wine, art, and opportunity to meet the artists.  The reception is free and open to the public.

Art can be found in the most unique places.  Traveling north on highway 80, in the little town of Newcastle, is a picturesque rustic building that was once a fruit packing shed. Unexpectedly, it is now a unique art venue that features work by a group of very talented artists.

A selection of seven artists from the Newcastle Packing Shed will be on exhibit at the Gallery at 48 Natoma in Folsom, July 12 to September 5, 2019 with nationally acclaimed pastel painters Jan Miller, Pat Stoddard Aragon, Charlene Schmidt, Gretchen Locke, Paul Harmon, Joyce Williams and Lucinda Johnson. Most of the artists are signature members of the prestigious Pastel Society of the West Coast.
