Do you have a passion for animals and want to make a difference? Consider joining our amazing team of volunteer docents! Docents serve a vital role in helping to promote the zoo sanctuary’s educational mission of teaching responsible behavior toward all animals. Docents host school tours, interact with the public at community events, help with youth camps, and assist at special events. Register soon -- the docent training class begins February 11 and continues through March 19. Note: docents must be at least age 21 to register; class fee is $40. To learn more about the volunteer docent program, call Sue at 916-715-8610.
