The Sacramento County Department of Public Health is the lead agency managing response to local novel coronavirus (COVID-19) testing, investigations, coordination with health providers, and public information. The following is information about the City of Folsom’s response to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and reduce the number of people infected.

Facility, Event, Meetings, and Program Impacts

Facilities Closed:

  • Steve Miklos Aquatic Center
  • Folsom Art Center and the Gallery at 48 Natoma
  • Folsom Senior Center
  • Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary
  • Folsom Community Center
  • Rotary Club House
  • Athletic fields. Only non-contact sports or recreational activities are authorized.  No structured or organized practices, games, trainings, coaching, or team/league sports groups are permitted.
  • Basketball courts
  • Library book return (no overdue fees will accrue during the temporary library closure)

Events:

All Regularly Scheduled Parks and Recreation Events

Programs:

All organized games, classes, Library programs, Parks and Rec programs, rentals, rental group activities, youth and adult sports leagues, and events have been canceled or postponed. During this period, refunds for classes, programs, and events will be available. 

Folsom Public Library Curbside Pickup:
Beginning Tuesday, May 26, curbside library item pickup and drop off services will be available at the Folsom Public Library Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only. Call 916-461-6137 or email libcirc@folsom.ca.us to schedule your pickup or drop off time. Outdoor book return boxes remain closed. Precautions are being taken for the safety of our staff and our patrons. All items available for checkout have not been used by another patron for a minimum of three days. Items returned will remain checked out on your account for at least three days. No fines are currently accruing on checked out items.
